Captain Phil's Bonefish Guide

Venture into the beautiful back-country waters off McClean's Town and the nearby pristine Cays on a guided bone fishing expedition. Captain Phil will guide you into the picturesque, unspoiled flats off the east end of Grand Bahama Island for an unforgettable day of bent-rod action.

Phil's experience, and thorough familiarity with the prime fishing spots in this region, will maximize any angler's opportunities to land a variety of local catch. Not only could you snag bonefish that tips the scale at over ten pounds, but also a wide array of other exciting fighting fish, including Jacks, Barracudas, Permits, Tarpons, Snappers, Groupers, and even Sharks.Utilizing the poling platform on his 17-foot Maverick flats boat, Captain Phil will maneuver his clients into position to catch a large fish in the skinny water where they reside. This poling technique allows anglers to reach remote target-rich spots in the seemingly endless environs of the Bahamian saltwater flats.

Even if you're an old salt at bone, flats or fly fishing, you will appreciate the intuition and expertise that Phil offers while leading you into crystal-clear shallow waters that surround Grand Bahama Island.Never tried fly-fishing before? No problem. Our knowledgeable and patient fly-casting experts will have you teasing the big one to the surface in no time. Once you learn the rhythmic technique of casting a fly, you will be addicted to this angling method for the rest of your life. And there's no better environment to learn to fly-fish than the spectacular tropical setting of the Bahamas. Our bone fishing tours are fun and educational for the entire family. The kids will appreciate the constant on-the-line action of flats fishing. We love seeing children smile a broad grin of accomplishment after experiencing the thrill of catching their first bone fish. After anyone lands their first catch in the flats off the Bahamas, they will be hooked for good.
