Land and Sea Discovery

Land and Sea Discovery

First, we’ll take a brief walk down Woodes Rodgers Walk to our custom, covered, power catamaran boat.  As we leave Prince George Wharf and head toward the shorelines of the beautiful Paradise Island, you’ll be provided with complimentary refreshments from our on-board bar to enjoy.  Get your cameras ready as your tour guide will keep you focused upon the many stunning views of some of these historic sites including the Hog Island Lighthouse, The Nassau Sailing Club, The Cloisters, The world famous Atlantis Resort, Fort Montagu, and more.

Once you’ve seen all that Paradise Island has to offer from these turquoise Caribbean waters, we will return to the dock and continue your adventure aboard our air conditioned transport.  During this part of the tour, your guide will keep you entertained with many a tale of the rich cultural history.  The historic Fort Fincastle, Gregory’s Arch, the Governor’s Mansion, and the Queen Victoria Staircase are a few of the stops we’ll make for photo ops and more tales from your tour guide.  We then continue along Bay Street into the heart of Nassau’s shopping district where you will be able to purchase native, hand-crafted goods from hard working locals who pride themselves in the products they’ve mastered creating from clothing and purses to wood carvings and decorative baskets, and so much more!

Once we’ve seen Paradise Island by sea and all around Nassau by land, we’ll move into the 2 plus billion dollar world of the Atlantis Resort.  There is a short stop at Atlantis where you’ll be free to explore some of the many shops, the amazing lobby, or the largest casino in The Bahamas!  With it’s 3,000 hotel rooms, 20 restaurants, large number of stores and shops, and a 123 acre water park, this stop will be a favorite on many’s list!

If you wish to end your tour here, you are more than welcome to do so.  Guests ending the tour on Paradise Island will be required to arrange a taxi back to the cruise port or hotel at own expense.  If on a cruise ship, it is your responsibility to ensure that you will make it back on time to the port.
