Part snorkeling, part scuba diving, our Nassau Snuba Adventure tour allows you to explore the beautiful, thriving, and colorful coral reef ecosystem of the Bahamas without requiring a diving certification. While snorkeling keeps you at the surface of the water, Snuba allows you to dive to about 12 to 15 feet beneath the surface of the water. At this depth, you have a closer view of the varying marine life that makes its home in the coral reef ecosystem.
Snuba is fun and easy and requires no prior certification. All instruction that you need will be provided to you on board our boat, on our way to the coral reef gardens. Snuba is fun and easy for anyone who knows how to swim and loves going deeper into the water. The whole time you will be connected to the boat through a long tube from which you will be breathing. If you have never tried Snuba before, now is your chance! And there is no better destination for snuba diving than in the beautiful islands of the Bahamas!
The Snuba Adventure offers complimentary pick-up from hotels and cruise ships. The tour departs twice every day and we have a very limited number of spaces available on the snuba boats, so advanced reservations are required and highly encouraged!
It is your responsibility to make sure you are aware of and understand all restrictions pertaining to this tour before booking online or over the phone. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically qualified and within any limits listed below in order to participate in this activity. No refunds will be given to those who reserve a spot and can not participate due to the restrictions listed below. Restrictions
- Please note: Passengers coming off Carnival Cruise Lines must book directly through their cruise ships (our pick-up/drop-off schedule does not allow for sufficient time to transport Carnival cruise lines, so they usually provide their own SNUBA trip)
- Minimum age to participate is 8 years old
- You must be in good physical health to participate in SNUBA
- YOU MUST wait a minimum of 24 hours to fly after this tour
- No expecting mothers; no people with asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, or history of heart attacks, heart problems, or strokes; noone who was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure; no person who is taking antidepressant medication or other potential contraindicated medication; no person who might have problems equalizing their ears on airplanes or in mountains
