If you have made the decision to become certified to scuba dive, this is the course for you. We provide the full training required including the classwork, pool training, and open water dives that lead you to become Open Water Certified for diving anywhere across the globe. For over 25 years, Stuart Cove has been providing professional dive instruction here in Nassau.
Visitors of Nassau, and even residents, can be set up with everything needed to be able to explore ocean wrecks and colorful vibrant reef systems anywhere in the world. During your course here, you’ll be given the full class instructions to begin. Confined water dives in a pool setting will be the 2nd part of the course, followed by open water dives to various locations such as multiple reef and shallow ship-wreck locations. This certification will allow you to experience un-guided diving to a depth of 60 feet.
What is an Open Water Certification?
An open water certification course allows students to complete all classroom and pool work with a local dive shop. The local dive shop will issue students a certification letter.
What is included in the Certification Course?
The open water certification course includes both classroom and pool work. Also included are your four check out dives needed to complete your certification.
Is all equipment included in the cost of the course?
All of your diving equipment is included in the price of the dive.
Can my non-diving partner come on the dive?
No, unfortunately only divers may participate in the certification courses.
