Stuart Cove Two Tank Afternoon Dive

Our first dive site is an awe-inspiring wall. Most of our wall destinations begin at 40 feet, although some reach even greater depths. The fantastic assortment of surroundings at different dive sites along the wall will offer clients the occasion to experience an exclusive dive experience on their expedition. Both novice and expert divers will enjoy diving along a spectacular undersea wall. On each dive, our crew does their best to accommodate our patrons' wishes. Clients determine the depth of each dive with the choice of following the divemaster to 80 feet for a half hour, or remaining at a shallower shelf. Investigate a wreck or shallow reef on our second dive destination. Many teeming reefs, each with a kaleidoscope of coral gardens and aquatic life, are just a short distance from New Providence.

There are plenty of interesting wreck locales, including a gargantuan 100-foot freighter, 50 feet below the surface, the famous James Bond wreck in 40 feet of water, and the Cessna utilized in the movie, "Jaws." In 1983, the operation's owners, Stuart and Michelle Cove, reinforced themselves as the leading underwater film production coordinators of the Bahamas during the filming of the Bond blockbuster, "Never Say Never Again." This film starred Kim Bassinger and the legendary movie star, Sean Connery.

Our staff determines the particular dive locales on the day of the diving adventure. This allows our crew the flexibility to lead dives to the most ideal destinations for that specific day, according to weather conditions and the requests of our patrons.

What are the requirements to participate in this dive?
This dive requires an open water certification or higher.

Can you pick us up from our cruise ship or hotel?
Complimentary pick up is provided from all hotels and cruise ship areas.

What are water conditions like?
All dives occur on the south side of the island where waters conditions are great all year round. Visibility remains clear and consistent all year round. Water tempatures change seasonally but average between 72 - 78f.

Can I use/bring my own scuba diving equipment?
Yes. Many people feel more comfortable using equipment they are familiar with and are best suited towards their body type. While we do everything to ensure our divers are using the safest, most reliable gear we do allow our divers to use their own dive gear.

Can my non-diving partner come on the dive?
Yes. While your partner will not be able to participate in the dive itself they can come along as a rider and enjoy the trip with you.

Is There a restroom on the boat?
Yes. There is a restroom or "Marine Head" for use on the boat.

What about sharks and other sea creatures?
With all the media hype it's understandable why people often ask this question but the truth is that unprovoked shark attacks are very, very rare and attacks on scuba divers are even more rare. Our staff, divers and dive masters are all trained in making sure your dive is safe and enjoyable.

How long are you underwater?
Length of time underwater for these dives completely depends on the depth of the dive. You can expect to be under water for 25-40 minutes for dives 40-60 feet and about 35-45 minutes for dives less than 40 feet deep.
