The Born Free IV - 48' Chris Craft

The original pioneer of fishing excursions from Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Captain Kingsley established his charter business more than 25 years ago. Cruise into the bountiful waters for a once-in-a-lifetime excursion with the established angling authority.

What makes Captain Kingsley such an expert on Bahamian angling? One word experience. While growing up just a stone's throw from Nassau Harbour, Captain Kingsley could not help but to become enamored with every available water activity. So, of course, he jumped at the opportunity to begin his fishing career in 1978 as a mate aboard his Godfather's vessel, which chartered trips out of Nassau. Master Captain Milton Pearce took him under his wing and tutored the youngster in the ways of the sea. After learning the ropes from his wise and instructive mentor, Captain Kingsley continues to follow the time-tested maritime techniques established by his forefathers in the Bahamas.

Building on these traditions, Captain Kingsley has also come up with his own effective innovations to maximize his clients' haul.Paradise Island and New Providence Island are flanked by extensive reefs that drastically drop off from 100 feet to more than 5,000 feet. During the winter and spring, the precipice of this continental shelf provides an ideal environment for wahoo, barracuda, king mackerel, and sailfish. The spring and summer months produce the perfect conditions to head offshore to fish for marlin, yellow fin tuna and huge schools of mahi-mahi. Deep ocean waters lie less than five miles from the Paradise Island coastline.

Captain Kingsley takes pride in the fact that the majority of his charter business consists of return customers (some have been clients for over 20 years) -- a testament to the captain's professionalism, charming nature, and uncanny ability to find that trophy catch for his clients.
